You may have noticed that my blog as well as my Facebook page/s have been rather quiet over the past few weeks. We have been away on holiday, catching up with all the members of my extended family. I am the middle of 3 girls and now that we all have got married and had our own kids (we each have 3) we have grown closer together.
There is something to be said in the saying "absence makes the heart grow fonder" Me and my younger sister fought like cats and dogs when we were growing up and it wasn't until I got married, and then she did 2 1/2 years later that we actually started really getting along as sisters should.
So while me and my family stayed with my parents, my younger sister + family stayed with my older sister + family (I tell you what, their house was rather loud with 6 kids under 5 1/2 running around)
YS = younger sister
OS = Older sister
I was so neat to see how the cousins interacted. My Brylie is the oldest (by 7 1/2 hours) then Ruth (YS), Clara (OS), Elijah (ME) Sofia (OS), Nathan (YS), Portia (ME) Andrew (YS), Ezra (OS)

One of our day trips that we took while down in Wellington was to Staglands. An awesome part/farm with loads of animals, and plenty of wildlife roaming around.
On our next leg of the holiday we made our way up to North Taranaki to stay with my younger sister. On the way up the island we stayed with friends in Dannivirke and visited the miniature train in Palmerston North.
Waiting is such hard work.
The final part of our journey was spent at my Brother-in-Law and sisters farm. It was such a great time, (Not very relaxing with 6 kids though).
Its lovely to be home again...
